International Primary School for a Future Without Borders
At our private primary school in Prague, we teach according to the British National Curriculum, which delivers the certainty of an outstanding education. At the same time, we foster a supportive and inspiring ecosystem where children grow into well-rounded individuals with unique talents and open doors to the entire world. With an average of 14–16 pupils per class (and a maximum cap of 20), we guarantee an individualized approach through which teachers actively develop every child’s potential, critical thinking, and independence.
Key Stage 1 (Years 1–2 | Ages 5–7)
- In the early years, we nurture children’s natural curiosity through engaging lessons in reading, writing, numeracy, and practical activities. We build their confidence and social skills, laying strong academic foundations to prepare them for the next steps on their journey to success.
Key Stage 2 (Years 3–6 | Ages 7–11)
- In the subsequent stage, learning goes deeper: expanding into more complex scientific, humanities, and arts subjects. Pupils progress towards greater independence, critical thinking, and analytical abilities. We also foster and develop children’s talents through a rich offer of extra-curricular activities.
From Year 1 onwards, all core subjects are taught in English by qualified native speakers who help pupils seamlessly immerse themselves in a bilingual environment and master both the language and the curriculum content.
In accordance with Czech legislation, the curriculum also includes Czech language and humanities (for Czech pupils), alongside Czech language classes for non-native speakers. As a result, pupils retain the option to seamlessly continue their studies within both the Czech and international educational systems.

From Textbooks to the Real World
First-class education requires more than just a strong curriculum and experienced teachers. The best primary schools stand out thanks to modern facilities that give children space to grow. Classrooms equipped with interactive touchscreens and ergonomic furniture allow rooms to transform effortlessly from traditional classrooms into collaborative project studios. Science, technology, art, and language learning take place in specialized classrooms and creative STEAM labs.
Theoretical knowledge comes alive during regular educational visits to Prague’s museums, historical landmarks, and nature reserves. Starting in Key Stage 2, multi-day outdoor residential trips serve as a testing ground for courage and teamwork, teaching pupils respect for nature and one another.
Our international primary school calendar brings together the best of both Czech and British traditions – from ski courses and summer trips to Christmas celebrations, Easter Egg Hunts, and Halloween. Pupils grow up in a naturally multicultural environment that broadens their perspective on the world.

Unlocking Potential in Close Partnership with Parents
We form one team with parents, placing absolute emphasis on transparency. Through the EduPage portal and mobile app, we share real-time classroom moments, announcements, and academic progress. Throughout the year, parents are invited to regular parent-teacher meetings and open-classroom showcases, where pupils proudly present their projects.
The school day runs from 08:30 to 14:25. Afterward, pupils can join the after-school care club to play and complete homework, or participate in our wide range of extra-curricular activities. We nurture children’s talents through sports clubs such as football, swimming, and yoga; artistic abilities through arts and crafts, pottery, and choir; and future-ready skills through robotics and coding clubs.
Admissions to our Primary School
Primary school enrolment begins with completing an online application or contacting our Admissions Manager, who will guide you through the entire process. You can arrange a personal meeting and a school tour in Prague, or connect with us online. Our Primary School is located at Frýdlantská 1350/1, Prague 8. Your child can also experience a trial day in a real classroom.
From Year 2 onwards, prospective pupils complete an age-appropriate entrance assessment alongside an informal interview. The average class size is 14 to 16 pupils, with a strict maximum cap of 20 children. Small groups guarantee an individualized approach, enabling teachers to actively nurture each pupil’s potential, critical thinking, and independence.
Absolutely. The earlier a child enters a bilingual environment, the more naturally they acquire the language. In primary school, pupils absorb English effortlessly through exploration, play, and interactive activities. Learning from native speakers helps them acquire accurate pronunciation early on, while our nurturing and supportive approach builds communication confidence without any hesitation.
We provide dedicated English as an Additional Language (EAL) support for non-native speakers. We utilize adapted learning materials, visual dictionaries, and personalized language targets. This allows children to immerse themselves in an English-speaking environment smoothly and stress-free, without compromising their academic progress.
We accept children aged 6 to 11 into Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. Subject to availability in the requested year group and successful completion of the admissions process, mid-year enrolment is welcome at any point during the academic year.
The core curriculum comprises Mathematics, English, and Science, complemented by History, Geography, Art, Music, Physical Education, and ICT. We enrich the curriculum through STEAM project-based learning, outdoor education, and a diverse range of extra-curricular activities to ensure well-rounded academic and social development.
English is the primary language of instruction, delivered by qualified native speakers. For Czech pupils, we fully provide Czech language and humanities instruction led by Czech teaching staff in compliance with Czech legislation, leaving doors open for future studies in both international and national educational systems.
