A Warm Welcome for Children Aged 3 to 5
Friendship and Respect Without Borders
An International Environment and First Steps in English
In our private international kindergarten we combine a vibrant multicultural environment with a warm family atmosphere, opening the gateway to a bilingual world for your child. A qualified team of native speakers helps children acquire their first English words naturally through songs, games, and daily rituals – with no prior knowledge of the language required.
The curriculum follows the British Early Years programme and is structured into two sequential stages: Reception and Year 1. In Reception, the focus centers on developing core skills, nurturing self-confidence, forming friendships, and exploring the world through purposeful play. As children progress to Year 1, we ensure a smooth transition towards well-rounded preparation for primary school, gently fostering independence and early problem-solving skills.
The programme takes place in a dedicated wing of our school with its own entrance, a spacious garden with trees, and a fully equipped playground. Upon completing their pre-school education, children can transition seamlessly into our Primary and Secondary school, allowing them to progress through their entire educational journey at Perrott Hill Prague without the stress of adapting to a new environment.
"I can genuinely say that this is a happy environment where we are dedicated to the well-being of our students while encouraging positive school attitudes. Our goal is for every child to feel happy and at ease when coming to school. I believe we have successfully established a supportive and nurturing atmosphere tailored to meet individual needs."

Nurturing Guidance and Personal Development
We believe that every child is unique, which is why our pedagogical approach is built on respect and gentle, individual guidance. Our teachers nurture children’s emotional intelligence, creativity, social skills, and physical development. We ensure that every child feels fully accepted, as a sense of belonging is the essential foundation for healthy self-esteem and the joy of learning new things.
This philosophy also shapes our approach to enrollment and the subsequent settling-in period. We understand that transitioning to a new environment is a major milestone in a child’s life. Our goal is to make your child feel safe and arrive each day with a smile. We are always delighted to discuss your child’s individual needs and traits before they start, ensuring a calm and confident beginning to their bilingual adventure.

Our pre-school education programme is split into two stages – Reception and Year 1 – and is fully based on the British Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. The Reception stage emphasises learning through play, building self-confidence, forming first friendships, and developing key skills. Year 1 builds seamlessly on these foundations, serving as a transition towards structured school preparation. You can learn more about our learning programme on the Curriculum page.
