YEAR GROUP: YEAR 2 – YEAR 6

Coding Club
YEAR GROUP: YEAR 2 – YEAR 6
The Coding Club introduces students to the fundamentals of programming using Scratch, a beginner-friendly visual coding platform. Through hands-on projects, students will create interactive games, stories, and animations while learning logical thinking and problem-solving. The club encourages creativity, collaboration, and confidence in using technology.

Model United Nations
YEAR GROUP: YEAR 9 – YEAR 13
MUN is a debating club. Students will meet every week in order to prepare for debates in our school and international conferences that happen in our school, other schools in Prague and different cities across Europe. Students will develop their knowledge in a certain global issue, then hone their debating and critical thinking skills in order to advocate for a specific nation. The club is teacher facilitated and student run. Students will also have the opportunity to participate as leaders of the club.

Duke of Edinburgh's Award
YEAR GROUP: YEAR 9 – YEAR 13
The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award is an internationally recognised youth award program that encourages and celebrates your extra curricular activities. The main event of this award program is the adventurous journey, whereby students are asked to hike and camp together as independently as possible with minimum support from adults. For most of the year, most of the meetings will be held during lunch breaks so that we can complete administration tasks without affecting your afterschool life. However, there will be some days in the year when we will have to agree on staying at school a little longer to complete training activities for the adventurous journeys.

Bricks4Kidz
YEAR GROUP: YEAR 2 – YEAR 6
The Bricks 4 Kidz® programme uses LEGO® bricks to engage students in hands-on learning as they build specially designed models. Through these activities, students learn through play while developing creativity, problem-solving abilities, and fine motor skills.
Our classes explore concepts in architecture, engineering, and technology using LEGO® bricks. Students take part in sessions built around exciting themes such as Space, Forces of Nature, Gadgets and Gizmos, Construction Craze, Interesting Inventions, and many more.

STEM Club
YEAR GROUP: YEAR 2 – YEAR 6
The STEM Club brings science, technology, engineering, and mathematics together in a playful, hands-on environment where young students explore, create, and problem-solve. Through experiments, building projects, coding challenges, and design tasks, children learn to think critically, ask questions, and apply logic — exploring concepts from biology, physics, maths, and technology in an integrated way. The club encourages curiosity and creativity while helping students build a strong foundation in analytical reasoning and technical skills.
Sessions combine structured projects (like building simple machines or small engineering models), collaborative problem-solving, and creative exploration. Students learn to test ideas, adapt designs, and reflect on results, strengthening their ability to work as a team, think flexibly, and tackle real-world challenges. The club aims to nurture both scientific understanding and inventive thinking, giving children tools to understand the world around them and imagine new possibilities.

Junior Duke Award
YEAR GROUP: YEAR 2 – YEAR 6
The Junior Duke Award Club introduces primary students to a structured programme designed to develop independence, confidence, resilience, and a wide range of practical life skills. The award consists of ten progressive levels, each offering a variety of age-appropriate challenges that encourage students to step beyond their comfort zones, explore new interests, and build essential competencies for life beyond the classroom.
Throughout the programme, students engage with tasks connected to first aid, ICT, eco-awareness, drama, risk management, sport, cookery, and other hands-on activities that promote problem-solving and personal responsibility. Many challenges require perseverance and self-motivation, allowing children to practise skills that extend naturally into their home environment and wider community. The club provides guidance and introductory instruction during school time, while students complete the majority of their challenges independently or with the support of friends and family.
The ethos of the Junior Duke Award aligns closely with our school values. As students work through each level, they learn to take pride in their achievements, demonstrate resilience when faced with difficulty, uphold accountability for their progress, cultivate grit in overcoming challenges, practise unity through collaboration and kindness, and strive for excellence in both effort and attitude.
Rugby Club
YEAR GROUP: YEAR 2 – YEAR 6
The Rugby Club for primary school students introduces the basic skills and rules of rugby in a fun and supportive environment. Training focuses on developing agility, coordination, teamwork, ball-handling skills, safe tagging or tackling techniques (depending on age group), and an understanding of game flow.
Sessions include skill-building drills, simple gameplay activities, and exercises that promote communication, cooperation, and spatial awareness. The club encourages a love for the sport while helping children build physical fitness, confidence, and strong social skills.

Dance Club
YEAR GROUP: STARTERS up to YEAR 1
Our Early years Dance Club introduces young children to the joy of movement and music in a fun,playful, and encouraging environment. The sessions help children build rhythm, coordination, balance, and body awareness through simple dance routines, games, and imaginative movement.
The focus is on expressing creativity, building confidence, and developing social skills in a safe and nurturing space. No prior experience is needed — just enthusiasm and a willingness to move!

The sessions are designed to engage little ones’ imaginations and help them learn to focus, relax, and express themselves in a safe, supportive environment. No previous experience is necessary —just curiosity and a sense of fun!

Origami & Upcycling Club

In this club, we will learn how to fold paper into fun origami shapes and create new things from old materials. We’ll turn everyday items into something useful or beautiful, while having fun, being creative, and helping the planet!

Beginners Theather
YEAR GROUP: YEAR 2 – YEAR 6
Beginners Theater is designed to help students learn the aspects of theater and drama techniques. Students will have the opportunity to perform on stage using the choreography, staging and acting skills that they’ve learned.
Drama club promotes reading and speaking skills as well as self confidence.
