Lower Secondary Education: Key Stage 3 (Years 7–9 | Ages 11–14)
During Key Stage 3 in the British curriculum, students study a broad range of subjects from sciences to humanities. They gain a well-rounded academic foundation while discovering their individual strengths. In Year 9, they transition smoothly into the next crucial stage: preparation for their first major milestone, the IGCSE exams.
High School: Key Stage 4 & 5 (Years 10–13 | Ages 14–18)
- Key Stage 4 (Years 10–11): The core of the curriculum consists of compulsory subjects, which students supplement with elective options based on their interests. Everything builds towards the final IGCSE examinations.
- Key Stage 5 / Sixth Form (Years 12–13): Students specialise fully, focusing on just 3 to 4 specific subjects. This allows them to delve deep into their chosen fields and prepare meticulously for their A-Level examinations.
For students from the Czech Republic, we also offer the option to take the traditional Czech school-leaving exam, providing them with a bilingual foundation for their future both at home and abroad.

Every journey begins with a first step: contact us. Our Admissions Manager will personally guide you through the entire admission process and suggest the best pathway for your child, even if you are currently unsure of their level of English. We also warmly welcome prospective students to experience a trial day.
The practical stage of our admissions process includes a personal interview and an entrance exam. We evaluate knowledge from the previous school year (English, Mathematics, and Science) using Key Stage or AS/A-Level style assessments, all conducted in English.

Open days at our school take place several times throughout the year. It is also possible to arrange a personal meeting with us at any time, during which we will introduce you to how our private school operates and show you around our Prague campus. Simply get in touch with us and we will be delighted to guide you.
Our admissions process differs from the Czech state CERMAT tests. Prospective students take an entrance test that aligns with the curriculum of the previous school year, meaning the assessments vary depending on the year group and class. All tests are conducted in English. The process also includes a personal interview and the opportunity to experience a trial day directly in the classroom.
Yes, it is a private English senior school operating as an independent educational institution funded entirely by tuition fees. This allows us to provide world-class international facilities, low student numbers per class, education delivered by native speakers from across the globe, and a highly individualised approach to our students.
Our campus for Secondary and High school students is located at Třeboradická 1110/51, Prague 8 – Kobylisy. The site features modern facilities tailored for the delivery of the international British curriculum and is easily accessible by both car and public transport (situated close to the Kobylisy metro station on line C).
Unlike institutions where only selected subjects or the language itself are taught in English, Perrott Hill Prague – as an international English school – teaches entirely in English. Our students complete their studies with globally recognised British IGCSE and A-Level examinations, which open doors to prestigious universities worldwide without the need for further language certificates.
In Year 11, students sit IGCSE examinations, which provide them with a general academic foundation. During their final two years, they fully specialise in 3 to 4 specific subjects within the A-Level framework, tailored to their future goals (such as medicine or business). This examination represents the standard of British education and enables students to apply to universities abroad.
Our school follows the British educational model, which provides a seamless academic journey all the way up to the age of 18 (Key Stages 3, 4 and 5). As a result, we are not restricted by rigid multi-year school formats; students can transfer into any year group depending on their age and previous educational background. However, the most common entry points for new students are at the ages of 11 and 14.
